Responsibilities
Alison is the Renewables Leader in London within Aon’s Natural Resources team, responsible for driving Aon’s global strategy for renewables and the energy transition, while leading client relationship management. In this role, Alison ensures that the full breadth of Aon’s expertise, resources, tools, and solutions is coordinated and deployed to deliver the best possible outcomes for clients across all disciplines.
Experience
Alison has 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry, including over 20 years in underwriting. She has led teams through some of the most challenging periods for the energy market and has been instrumental in developing policy wordings.
Before joining Aon, Alison worked as Insurance Manager for two major energy operators, both undergoing transitions to renewables. This gave her a client-side perspective on evolving risk and coverage needs. Combining this operator-side experience with her underwriting background, Alison brings a unique understanding of both sides of the table and now, at Aon, has a comprehensive view of the entire energy value chain and the insurance solutions that support it from source to end customer.
