Current Responsibilities
William is the CEO of the Power and Energy practice in the Marsh London Office. In this role he is responsible for driving client solutions across the Energy value chain.

Experience
William joined Marsh in 2008 in the Construction Team and was lead broker on a broad spectrum of accounts, focusing on complex Constructions projects. Specialising in analysis, placement and on-going service, William developed excellent worldwide market relationships. In 2012 William joined Marsh Dubai as a broker and client Executive, responsible for design and execution of insurance placement services for core MENA based clients including refineries, petrochemical facilities, power plants, exploration & production assets and drilling units. In 2016 William was promoted to lead the Energy & Power Placement team, responsible for all Energy & Power placement activities in Marsh’s Dubai Hub driving complex global placements. William became practice leader for the Energy & Power Middle East & Africa team in 2020, leading a diverse team of placing brokers, client executives, risk engineers and claim consultants. In 2023 William became the Energy & Power leader for Marsh’s new IMEA region, when it expanded to include India. William relocated to Marsh London in July 2025 to take on the role of CEO of the Energy and Power practice UK.
