David joined IQUW in 2021 to build the syndicate’s energy account and to help build the infrastructure needed to enable underwriters to intelligently use data and insights to make accurate, fast decisions. Before joining IQUW, David held Active Underwriter and CUO roles at Torus and Starstone, was Head of Upstream Energy at XL , where he experienced the ups and downs of the offshore and upstream market with 2004 / 05 Hurricane losses as well as deep water drilling expansion.
