James Flude joined Lancashire in January 2014 as Head of Energy and Marine underwriting having worked at the Watkins Syndicate for over 14 years, most recently as Energy Underwriter and Account Manager. Whilst at Watkins he spent 5 years working as the Energy Underwriter in Singapore as part of the Lloyd’s Asia platform where he had responsibility for the upstream energy portfolio in Asia. James became Lancashire UK Chief Underwriting Officer in 2020.
