James McCallum is Head of Insurance at SSE Renewables. In 10 years at SSE James’ main focus has been offshore wind where he has focused on creating and developing innovative solutions to support SSE in their drive towards net zero. In 2020 James and his team led the placement of the Seagreen and Dogger Bank projects, the largest offshore wind farms in Scotland and the world respectively.  James is also responsible for insurance for SSEs Transmission and Distribution businesses which also have a key role in powering our net zero future.
