Kayne is a Senior Casualty Underwriter within the Energy team at Zurich. Kayne became part of the Zurich UK team in 2019 after originally joining Zurich Middle East in 2017, based in the UAE. Prior to that, he spent three years at UIB as a Casualty broker after beginning his career in 2013 in the Lloyd’s Corporation. Kayne also undertook a three-month secondment to bp’s Insurance team in 2021.

Kayne leads on sustainability strategy within the UK Energy team. During the past three years he has led projects on product development for CCS, green & blue hydrogen and carbon intensity modelling amongst others, while building thorough knowledge on the risks, challenges and opportunities surrounding the energy transition.
