Mathias is Director of Engineering at Bladena, a RES company, where he leads global engineering strategy for wind turbine blade solutions. Working with a team of specialist engineers, he focuses on delivering advanced technical insights across blade performance, integrity and lifecycle management.

With over 15 years of engineering experience, including six years in the steel industry, Mathias has spent the past nine years specialising in wind turbines. His expertise spans root cause analysis (RCA), structural blade solutions, asset management, R&D and both laboratory and field testing.

Mathias brings extensive experience in diagnosing blade failures and supporting data-driven decisions on repair, replacement and long-term asset strategy, making him well placed to provide technical insight into today’s evolving claims landscape.
