Richard Smith is responsible for Specialty Business Solutions’ product strategy, pre-sales and business engagement across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. He joined Verisk in 2016 as head of product management for Impact, then head of product management for Sequel Rulebook. Before he joined Verisk, Richard’s career in property underwriting included eight years at Aviva. Richard holds a degree in graphic design from Farnham University and is a Certified Catastrophe Risk Analyst.
