Robert is the Renewable Energy Leader for Marsh Asia. In this role, Robert is foremost responsible for leading the extensive renewable energy team in Marsh Asia ensuring the delivery of comprehensive risk and insurance solutions for renewable energy clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Robert has been located in Singapore for the past 11 years with a background in engineering and infrastructure projects. Prior to that, Robert was based in London working within a large construction team handling complex major projects across a variety of occupancies. This wider knowledge of the global market & trends ensures Robert can deliver his extensive power & energy experience to Marsh Asia clients.
For the past 5 years Robert has focused solely on Renewable Energy & Energy Transition projects. He has been involved in advising and placing of all types of renewable energy including solar, wind, BESS, Green hydrogen, interconnectors and Offshore wind. With over 40GW of projects managed to date.
Recognized as a thought leader in Renewables Robert frequently shares his insights into the energy transition and important role renewable energy has to play on the journey to net zero. He has great passion for renewable energy and leverages his knowledge to deliver bespoke risk solutions allowing clients to navigate the complexities of a rapidly evolving insurance market. Under his leadership, Marsh Asia’s renewable energy division is committed to ensuring our clients achieve their financial and operational goals while advancing towards a sustainable future.
