Tom has over 30 years of insurance experience. Before joining McGill and Partners he led Aon’s Power Division in London. He has been providing risk advisory and insurance broking services to the offshore wind sector since 1998. Prior to this he worked in the upstream energy sector. Tom has placed over 60 offshore wind projects, from around the world, into the international insurance market. He has been at the forefront in developing the insurance products prevalent in the sector, as well as encouraging new markets to provide capacity to the ever-evolving offshore wind risks.  Tom is now a core member of the new offshore wind specialist team at McGill and Partners designed specifically to provide bespoke solutions to this exciting sector.
